Fear of the Lord

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God. What then is the fear of God. The fear of God is the passkey to the richness of God, without it, one is just a religious observer. 

Exodus14:31 'And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.' The deeds of God instil the fear of God and cause 'belief'. The fear here is different from the fear of man, it is called 'awe'. 

Jeremiah 32:40 'And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.' It is the seed that remains in the heart and makes one not to be able to sin. 

Proverb 29:25. Awe is different from fear; fear binds someone, awe is just like when one is brainwashed (without anyone forcing you, you willing go for God). It makes one believe God, appreciate the supremacy of God, gives one the willingness to want to obey and worship God (Psalm 5:7). 

The Bible says it is the beginning of wisdom, this is only attribute that can make you appreciate the instruction of God; wisdom is all about instruction of God.
