There is a link between life on earth and praise. There is no record of the dead praising God; Angels do not praise, they worship. Praise is dynamic, intriguing, worship is repetition.
It is a weapon of battle. Praise has been used by great men of faith as powerful weapon.
The truth is there are certain times a fight is not yours and at such time what you should do is to invite God to do the fighting by praising Him. Instances of such conditions are;
- When God sends you on errands, and u encounter difficulties.
- When for God, you just could not take the next step.
- When in the process, the other party defiled the name of God 1Sam. 17:47.
What to do when the battle is the Lord's. Praise. God inhabits praises.
And wisdom teaches us to turn every battle to God's battle Romans 12:20-21 'Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.' The same way an enemy can turn the battle against you by using God (case of Balaam and the Israelites) you too make the battle God's battle by heaping coal on your enemy.
